Circle C Australian Shepherds is a small breeder of quality Australian Shepherds offering a few superior individuals per year for purchase. Our breeding philosophy is to start with the best bloodstock possible and to make sound, educated breeding decisions. We breed first and foremost for temperament, believing that Aussies should be intelligent and a joy to live with. We absolutely will not breed a beautiful dog with a bad personality, nor will we breed a good natured dog with a glaring conformational fault. Our Aussies must be of breed standard so that they can soundly do whatever task is required of them. We believe in having the best of both worlds!
WHERE WE ARE!
We are dedicated to producing sound, healthy
working dogs that are suitable as well to be family
pets and show dogs. While our own goal with our
bloodstock is blood trailing and stock work, our pups
have gone on to become flyball champions, herding
dogs, and beloved family members. Pups have across
the board shown a remarkable work ethic no matter
their role in life, and many are capable of a multitude of
tasks. This strong drive to please starts with the dogs
we choose to breed as Circle C Aussies. Our “breeding
dogs” are held to the highest standards of temperament,
workability, and conformation. Either they or their
immediate offspring must show a propensity to work
a blood trail or scent trail as well as have a desire to
work stock- thus holding true to the mold of a Circle C
Australian Shepherd. Since we do not breed our dogs
more than once annually (and often less than once per
year) we are only able to provide a very limited number
working dogs that are suitable as well to be family
